In his speech, Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his delight in coming to Giresun for such a propitious occasion.

Stating that the building is the expression of traders and industrialists of Giresun, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “I would like to thank the Giresun TSO for their contributions to Giresun’s culture with the restoration of this building to its original purpose.”

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Giresun TSO has exceeded itself, that the service it provides is on par with any to be found in Paris or Berlin – it is a 5-star chamber, “I would like to congratulate everyone who contributed to this achievement.”

Giresun TSO Chair Hasan Çakırmelikoğlu stated that it is very fitting that the opening of the new service building coincides with the establishment of the chamber as well as Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s arrival in Giresun 91 years ago.

Former Minister for Customs and Commerce Nurettin Canikli and Governor Hasan Karahan also gave speeches following Giresun TSO Chair Hasan Çakırmelikoğlu after which the building was opened to use with the cutting of its ribbon.
