"Happy Republic Day"

In his October 29th Republic Day message, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the importance of the Republic as the most meaningful value we all share and said, "Millions who believe in independence and freedom, who love their country, will carry forward this sacred charge inherited from our ancestors forward in the contest of civilization.​
As the Turkish business community, we've promised to create one of the largest economies in the world with the gates opened by the Republic. Let none doubt that we will stop in this endeavor."
Hisarcıklıoğlu stated in his message:
"With pride and joy, we are celebrating the 92nd anniversary of our Republic as put forth by our great leader, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the mode of governance which most suits our character.
Undertaken With the understanding that 'the sovereignty of the people will again be emancipated through the determination and will of the people,' the War for Independence culminated in the Republic, our best roadmap.
It is the declaration that, on these hallowed lands, we will stand united and live together in harmony, embracing democracy and strive to leap ahead in the contest of civilization.
It is with these thought that I, on behalf of the Turkish private sector, share in this most joyous and meaningful day of our country. Long live the Republic."
