“I hope that the November 1^st Elections will bring prosperity to our country and nation.

Our nation has shown its will through this election with a high degree of participation at the ballot box.

This shows once again that Turkey has a robust and strong democracy.

It is most gratifying to have 97% of the vote be represented at the parliament.

I congratulate the Justice and Development Party (AKP) in having garnered the support of the nation.

We’ve had four election periods within the last 2 years.

We have left the busy election schedule behind us.

The fact that a single, strong party has emerged from the ballot is an opportunity for strengthening stability, peace and trust.

Turkey must use this opportunity well and focus on the economy and reforms.

By remembering that we are all on the same ship, cooperating through consensus and arbitration, we can overcome all issues.

This is the time to work together for our country.”
