Hisarcıklıoğlu met with his Chinese counterpart Zengwei and the delegation accompanying him prior to the B20 Meetings taking place as a part of the G20 Leaders Summit.

Following the meeting which took place closed to the press, Hisarcıklıoğlu made announcements to the AA journalists.

Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that he has talked to Zengwei and the delegation accompanying him about his experiences and endeavors as B20 Chair, stressing the importance of SMEs.

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Zengwei has congratulated them in very successful organization and emphasized the importance of continuing the work begun during Turkey’s term as chair.

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they’ve compiled their work into 19 suggestions to be presented to G20 leaders, Hisarcıklıoğlu said:

“We are very happy to be handing off B20 to China for the next year. CCPIT is our counterpart organization in China. I believe that they will succeed admirably in this endeavor. We want to increase our experience, contact and relations with China in all matters. In this regard, we have signed a cooperation agreement with CCPIT.”
