During the meeting Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Turkey and Iran are brother countries and that the present trade volume has reached 23 billion USD and that they are prepared to give all necessary aid to increase the trade between the two countries. Hisarcıklıoğlu said that Ambassador Hosseinpour has played a significant role in the development of relations between Iran and Turkey throughout his posting.

Emphasizing the significance of the efforts of the Ambassador Hosseinpour, whose term in Turkey is coming to an end, which contributed greatly to the development of bilateral relations and thanked him for his support and cooperation.
