“We condemn those who hope to benefit from terror”

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu issued a press release regarding the terror attack which took place in Ankara, fiercely condemning those who perpetrated the heinous act as well as those who view terrorism as an acceptable course of action. Stating that the attack is aimed at the unity and solidarity of the country, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We will stand against these atrocities and vile attacks. Consciences will never forgive those who hope to benefit from these inhuman attacks.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his press release:
“The attack which took place at the heart of Ankara in the evening hours has hurt our hearts. We feel a deep sorrow. We condemn all acts of terror. We must maintain our common sense in the face of such attacks. Let all know that these attacks which target our unity and solidarity will never reach their goals.
On behalf of the Turkish business community I pray for the grace of Allah upon those who lost their lives in this attack and extend our condolences to their loved ones and our great nation as well as wishing those wounded in the attack a speedy recovery.”
