Hosted by French Chambers Union President Andre Marcon in Saint-Bonnet-le-Froid, the meeting saw discussion on the issues facing the European economy.
Effects of globalization, migration, climate change, unemployment and especially youth unemployment were discussed with respect the European economy and society.
Also discussed during the meeting in addition to EUROCHAMBRES’ 2017 priorities was Brexit.
TOBB President and EUROCHAMBRES Vice President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu provided information in regards to the developments following the coup attempt of July 15th during the business luncheon held as a part of the Plenary Meeting.
Hisarcıklıoğlu also provided information regarding the G20/B20 Summit in China which he attended as representative of EUROCHAMBRES.
Taking part in the Plenary Board besides Turkey are Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Poland and Austria.
