Speaking at the Summit, President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that he also attended the summit held in 2014, held on a bi-yearly schedule since 2012. Erdoğan stated that the summit is very successful in regards to the implementation of the decisions made there, and went on:

“But the gains are quite important. Especially the restructuring of the law regarding retail – it is revolutionary for our craftsmen and artisans. We’ve facilitated the renovation of vehicles for artisans in the transportation sector via special tax exemption. We are supporting craftsmen and artisans through restructuring of tax and social security debts. Turkish Craftsmen and Artisans Credit and Surety Cooperatives Central Union has graciously erased the default debts of many members who are indebted to the establishment, providing significant convenience.”
