Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his address:

“As the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) we remember Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, the great statesmen, on the 78th anniversary of his passing, with respect, gratitude and appreciation. As the Turkish business community, we once again reiterate our conviction and our determination to serve and embrace.

I heartily believe that we will attain our goals as set out by Him, by earning His trust, by adopting Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s quote, ‘A merchant is a man whose hands and intellect have been entrusted to add value to the labor and production of the Nation who must be worthy of that trust’ as our principle.

Our efforts to carry forward the Republic which he entrusted to us as per the principles set forth by him, to bring Turkey to new heights, will become greater and greater.

We believe in Turkey. We are determined to serve our country. We are aware of the fact that we must tirelessly work and produce in order to ensure that our country has a respectable place in the modern global community.

On behalf of the Turkish business community, we once again emphasized our determination for the bright future our country and a prosperous Turkey; we bow respectfully before Atatürk’s great memory.”
