Pointing out the importance of education and the investments made to the educators, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that nations who seek to go forward in every aspect of life including economy must dote upon their teachers.

M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the fact that the teaching is a profession which requires immense self-sacrifice and said, “We are grateful and thankful to all our educators, teachers, who have a large share in the success of our children.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu's address in full is as follows:

“As the Turkish business community, knowing that investment in education is the only investment without risk of loss, we have tried to give support to the work in this area on every platform.

With this understanding, we have established the TOBB Economics and Technology University and have helped to establish primary and secondary education institutions in every corner of our country.

Let's not forget that the value we give to our teachers is the value we see in ourselves and our country. New generations whom well-trained and equipped teachers will raise are the most powerful force that will lead society in the race of civilization.

With these feelings and thoughts, I heartily congratulate all of our teachers on this most meaningful day.”
