Hisarcıklıoğlu met with Amir of Qatar Al-Thani

TOBB President and EUROCHAMBRES Vice-President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu was received by Qatar Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani in Doha, the capital of Qatar, which he was visiting for the Turkey-Qatar 2nd SME Conference.​
Bilateral relations in the economy and investment areas of Turkey and Qatar were discussed.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vice Chairs of the TOBB Board of Directors Halim Mete and Ender Yorgancılar as well as TESK President Bendevi Palandöken also attended the meeting.
-Turkish and Qatar companies convened
As a part of the Middle East and the Gulf expansion of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Turkish and Qatar companies met in Qatar under the auspices of Qatar Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Jassim on 17th and 18th of January, 2017.
Under TOBB’s leadership, the Turkey - JCC 2nd Business and Investment Forum, attended by 260 Turkish companies and 350 Gulf country companies, was held on the 1st and 2nd of November, 2016, in Bahrain.
