In the research in which about two thousand national, regional and local newspapers and journals were searched, news published about TOBB in the newspapers throughout March mainly focused on the solution process, approach to Israel, latest arrangements in the Turkish Commercial Code, and statements about the banking system.    

-Hisarcıklıoğlu: “Anatolian capital is the driving force of economy”

In the same research, it was discovered that news in which TOBB showed the entrepreneurial middle-class Anatolian Capital as the driving force of Turkish economy were prominent in March.    It was determined that various statements made by Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of TOBB, who has been elected Chairman of Jerusalem International Arbitration Center for the solution of disagreements between Palestinian and Israeli businessmen were included widely in about 700 news on economy pages.  

Statements of Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of TOBB, in which he drew the attention to the fact that banks were indispensable for economy and had to be more conscientious, and emphasized the fact that amendments to the Turkish Commercial Code had great importance in terms of harmony with the world, and that TOBB had a leading role, were among the subjects that attracted the greatest attention in the news published.
