TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they’ve come to Bolu for propitious works. Hisarcıklıoğlu reminded that Bolu is famous for its cooks, nature and philanthropists, stressing that the city is almost a green paradise. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “In summer, winter, spring, autumn; Bolu is beautiful in every season. Abant, Yedigöller and Gölcük, such national nature parks are here with their great beauty. Kartalkaya is a center of winter tourism. Bolu is a center for congress, winter and highland tourism. You also have potential in sports and thermal tourism. Karacasu, Mudurnu, Babas and Sarot, Seben, Kesenözü, Pavlu, Göynük, Çatak Thermal Springs are here. You have these natural beauties but you need to take advantage of them. You can get more share from tourism. Between İstanbul and Ankara there is no better geography than Bolu. Position yourself for a weekend break instead of a day trip. Bolu is the third habitable province. Would better advertising could there be than that? At the same time, you are a city of education and industry.

There is a white meat, eggs and wood industry in Bolu. You have your trademark yellow potatoes and chocolate brand. Bolu's future is brilliant, so invest in Bolu's future. Bolu Chamber of Commerce and Industry is an accredited chamber. It offers a 5-star service to its members. It has been serving its members for 91 years. We are working closely with the Chairman Türker both at TOBB and at IKV. Chairman Türker is a CCI Council Member. He represents Bolu and the other 181 CCIs in the Council. Again Chairman Türker contributes to the European Union policies at IKV. I would like to congratulate the CCI on one issue. There are 2 women council members in the Bolu CCI assembly. In fact, Ms. Fatma Lebibe is Vice Chair of the Board of Directors. That's why I congratulate you. The development agency is doing EU projects. We were just passing through the temporary storage facilities which we will be opening today. Members are doing projects to export. There are TIR Park projects. The chamber also preserves local values.”

- Geographical marker applications

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Bolu Chamber of Commerce and Industry has applied for geographical markers for Bolu Mountain Hazelnuts, Keş, Kıbrıscık Rice, Alıç Vinegar, Uğut Dessert, Kanlıca Mushrooms and the Abant Lily Cologne. Hisarcıklıoğlu reported that they are providing examination and certification for hazardous and extremely hazardous occupations with TOBB MEYBEM.

With a project launched by TOBB, Bolu CCI now acts as a “digital chamber” Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “All documents are online for members to use. That's how Bolu serves its members.
