Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The young generations to be trained by well-educated, well-equipped teachers will have the strength to carry society forward in the civilization race.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated the following in his message:

“Our teachers are the ones who shape and give direction to society. They have the biggest share in the success of our children in society as qualified individuals. Investments in education and educators never incur losses. For centuries our society has been acting with in mind and therefore the teaching profession is held in the highest regard. Being a nation having internalized the saying, ‘I would be a 40-year servant to any who would teach me but a single letter,’ it is only natural to enthrone education and teachers.

As the representative of the Turkish business world, we have always had this mindset. Based on this vision, we established TOBB University of Economics and Technology and helped to establish primary and secondary schools in every corner of our country.

We know well that the value societies give to education and educators is an indication of the level of a civilization.

With these emotions and thoughts, I celebrate this meaningful day for all our teachers and our education community.”
