Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the members of the council at the information seminar

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu convened with council members at the Chambers / Exchanges Councilor Briefing Seminar.​

Stating that they began the Council Member Information Seminars after chamber / commodity exchange elections in 2013, Hisarcıklıoğlu and that they explain the mission and activities of TOBB and the chambers / exchanges.

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the expectation of the members of the council was to listen to the people's troubles and to communicate them to the heads of the chamber.

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu gave information about the works they have done recently, stating that they have evaluated the problems and demands received from the chambers and exchanges, forwarding them to the government and looking for a solution. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, including Ministers and many people and institutions that come together to come together with Hisarcıklıoğlu, the real sector of the Turkey Banks Union and the financial sector, organizing regional meetings.

Hisarcıklıoğlu shared information regarding various issues addressed as a result of the demands made since August such as the short-time work allowance, SSI premium debts, liquidation and transfer contracts, credit restructuring, technical insolvency problem, support in licensed warehousing, tax reductions, SME loans and Eximbank loans.

Stressing unity and solidarity, Hisarcıklıoğlu said that after chamber / commodity exchange elections, all parliamentary members should unite around the president and the board of directors, and even if they think differently; they should adopt the decisions of the council as their own.

Hisarcıklıoğlu, urged support from the members of the council in promoting the work done by TOBB and the chambers to their members.

Stating that the cities are now competing globally, Hisarcıklıoğlu said that cities are investing in their own brands.

Stating that he is hopeful about the future, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Merchants are hopeful, not pessimistic. You are the opinion leaders in your cities. Opinion leaders give hope. In the last 25 years we have successfully overcome all problems. We will get over this hump as well.”
