“Çanakkale Victory is the name of independence and love of the homeland”

In his message published in regards to the March 18th Martyrs Memorial Day and Canakkale Naval Victory anniversary the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) M. President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the saga writ at Çanakkale 104 years ago is the best declaration of independence love of the homeland to the whole world.
Hisarcıklıoğlu stated the following in his message:
“The Çanakkale Wars is the declaration to the world that we will never accept defeat even under the most severe conditions and we accept no alternative to independence.
On the anniversary of this glorious saga, we commemorate all our martyrs and veterans, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades, who selflessly put their lives on the line at the front and in support.
Today, we owe them everything we have in these heavenly lands. Blessings of Allah be upon them all. May heaven be their abode. I bow respectfully before their sainted memories.
It falls to us and future generations to make our country a place in which fraternity and progress are everlasting and everyone endeavors to make Turkey the most modern and most developed country in the world.
On behalf of the Turkish business world, I once again stress that we will not give up on this goal.”
