M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Turkish Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry during his visit to Bulgaria. Hisarcıklıoğlu inquired Turkish Trade Center Project by Turkish Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce.

It is stated in the meeting that half of the members of Turkish Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry are Bulgarian companies, on the other hand since 2000 there have been 2000 registered Turkish firms.
Zeki Bayram, President of the chamber stressed they are in close relation with the Bulgarian Chamber. Bayram stressed the chamber is willing to inform Turkish investors about the investment opportunities regarding farm lands, hotels and plants.
M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of TOBB noted he is very proud of Turkish entrepreneurs in Bulgaria. Hisarcıklıoğlu stressed Bulgaria is the gateway to the West and Kapikule is the second most crowded customs gate in the world.
Hisarcıklıoğlu noted the Turkish business community has to be united and the businessmen in Bulgaria are our connection. He mentioned Bulgaria will take part in the regional business council meetings and stated the meeting between Turkey, Greece and Bulgaria will take place in Çanakkale.
