TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his message:

“Once again, we celebrate the anniversary of the opening of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and the adoption of national sovereignty with enthusiasm and joy. We are grateful to all our veterans and martyrs, especially the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who gave us this pride and laid the foundations of our bright future.

Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who said, 'The basis of freedom and equality and justice is national sovereignty,' leaving the true enthusiasm of this beautiful and meaningful day to our children who will take care of it in the future.

In the immediate aftermath of the War of Independence, our race for civilization, which will last forever, began and was presented to our children as the greatest goal.

We, as the business world, will continue this fight by putting our lives on the line, and we will continue to grow our employment and production power. 

In particular, in this process, we will continue to work and produce as the Turkish business world, especially in the process of seeking a cure for the coronavirus pandemic and economic effects of our country and the whole world.    

With these feelings and thoughts, I wholeheartedly congratulate our nation's April 23^rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day.”
