TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, TESK President Bendevi Palandöken, Officer-Sen President Ali Yalçın, T. Kamu –Sen President Önder Kahveci, HAK-İş President Mahmut Arslan and TİSK Executive Board Member Metin Demir attended the visit.

Hisarcıklıoğlu thanked President Tatar for receiving them, saying, “Today, we are here to celebrate you being elected to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on behalf of the Confederation of Artisans and Artisans of Turkey, Türk-İş, Memur-Sen, Kamu-Sen, Hak-İş, TİSK, representing approximately 50 million people with their families in Turkey. That's the only reason we're all here. We are organizations in Turkey where their interests clash with each other but come together in the interests of the country.”

“We are very pleased that you were elected President,” Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We came to celebrate this. We wish you all the best. We will continue to provide all kinds of support, if there is anything you want from us, we are always with you as many institutions and organizations. We see your success as the success of our country and the success of Turkey.”.

Also celebrating TRNC's 37^th foundation anniversary, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “TRNC is precious to us, for the Republic of Turkey.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu noted that the organizations in the delegation worked very closely with their counterparts in the TRNC, and that the Investment Advisory Council, which started its work under President Tatar's Ministry of Finance and Prime Minister's Office, should be made more active. Hisarcıklıoğlu said that they want TRNC to become a country where more investment and more job opportunities are created, and that as Turkish investors, they are always on the side of the TRNC.

TRNC President Ersin Tatar also pointed out the importance of stability for economic issues and stressed that the developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, the determination of the Republic of Turkey, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's great support and decisive stance on the rightful fight of the Turkish Cypriots have strengthened the foundation of the TRNC.

“The fact that the foundation is strong mainly because economic developments are developing on the foundation contributes to an even better point of economic life for the work we will do in the future. The economic, spiritual and experience support that you give us is very important, all of which strengthens the foundation even more.”

“In this region, to keep the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus alive in the Eastern Mediterranean is our debt to our nation and our ancestors,” said President Tatar, who expressed that they care very much about the contribution made by TOBB and look more forward to the future.

Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce (KTTO) President Turgay Deniz stated that Hisarcıklıoğlu and his delegation have come to the TRNC to congratulate President Tatar, and that the two Chamber delegations will also meet.

“Every time we are stuck, Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu and his friends are our first friends who come to our aid. This was the case in the first days of the pandemic,” Deniz said, thanking Hisarcıklıoğlu for his assistance, cooperation and support, and said they would cooperate further.
