During the meeting, councilors consulted on what Turkey needs to do to increase global competitiveness in the new economy and improve e-trade.

“TOBB Turkey e-Commerce Council, which we established in 2016, became a public-private consultation platform where Turkey's leading e-commerce companies developed their relations with the public. We identify obstacles to the sector, develop and implement recommendations, and produce joint strategies for the development of the sector. With the e-Export Committee established under our Council, we design incentives for SMEs to open up to the world through electronic commerce and we are working to facilitate customs processes.”
