Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that they are always on the side of democracy, the nation and the state, “Those of us who adopt the principle of 'sovereignty belongs unconditionally to the nation' will continue to defend democracy. Because we exist so long as we have a state and a country. If there is democracy, we all exist.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu noted in his message:

“We are on the 5^th anniversary of the treacherous coup attempt on the future and direction of our country which took place on the night of July 15^th, 2016.

On the night of July 15^th, 2016, Turkey repelled a treacherous and despicable attack on its democracy and the rule of law.

As we said that night as TOBB and Chambers-Exchanges community, which was the first professional organization to take the first initiative against the coup attempt; ‘We don't recognize any will other than the will of the nation and democracy. It's a day to uphold democracy.'

Those of us who adopt the principle of 'sovereignty belongs unconditionally to the nation' will continue to defend democracy. Because we exist so long as we have a state and a country. If there's democracy, we all exist.

We have not forgotten and will not forget this despicable attack on Turkish democracy and the rule of law.

We would never consider an administration that doesn't take power from the people as legitimate. We do not give in to an option other than democracy and the will of the nation. The resistance of our nation on the night of July 15^th is the best example of this.

We are all proud of our sons who shielded their homeland with their breasts full of faith.

We pray for the grace of Allah for the heroic martyrs of the national resistance who lost their lives in this struggle for democracy and extend our condolences to their honored families; we thank our veterans.”
