“We celebrate the 98^th birthday of our glorious Republic with great pride and joy. We believe that the Republic, founded following our War of Independence led by Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades with the support of an entire nation, is the most valuable virtue. The way of governance dominated by the will of the nation is most suitable for the century we are in.

Our Republic has become stronger and more rooted every day nearing its centennial. Those before us and we have tried to contribute to this beautiful structure throughout our lives. I am sure that the generations after us will ensure Atatürk's words that 'The Republic will always stand' and will continue to protect it with diligence and care.

We commemorate all our martyrs and veterans, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades in arms, with respect, mercy and gratitude. Happy Republic Day!”
