Fuat Miras has passed away

Fuat Miras, a former President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), has passed away. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who published a message on the passing of Miras, who served as TOBB Vice President between June 4, 1986 and January 9, 1996, and TOBB President between January 9, 1996 and June 16, 2001, said, “It is with great sadness that I learned of Mr. Fuat Miras' passing. I pray for Allah's grace upon him and extend our condolences to his family, relatives and community.”
- Who is Fuat Miras?
Born in 1932 in the Surmene district of Trabzon, Fuat Miras graduated from İstanbul University Faculty of Law. Miras, who was also among the founders of the Maritime Chamber of Commerce with his shipping line operation profession and served the TOBB community with various duties including President of the Board of Directors, was a father of two children.
