The victory of Çanakkale is a reflection of our national fighting spirit

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said in a message issued on the March 18th Martyrs Memorial Day and the 107th anniversary of the Çanakkale Naval Victory, “The Victory of Çanakkale is one of the greatest achievements in our history, which describes our national fighting spirit. This success is a declaration to the world of what we can achieve when we are one and together and that we will never give up our future.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu stated in his message:
“March 18th is a very meaningful page for our history of Martyrs Memorial Day and Çanakkale Naval Victory. The fight of our ancestors to protect and preserve their lands is an example both for us and for our future generations. As descendants of the people who fought for their lives, it is our most precious duty to be worthy of this noble legacy.
The victory of Çanakkale is the power that formed the essence of our Independence War, laid the foundation, and brought exhausted and tired Anatolia back to its feet in the Independence War. It is the first sign of the rebirth of a nation.
I commemorate Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and our sainted martyrs with grace and gratitude. May the spirits of our heroes be praised.”
