Hisarcıklıoğlu included the following statements in his message:

“One of the most important factors determining the level of development of countries is the insurance awareness in that country and the level of development of the insurance sector. Turkey has a growing economy centered on the private sector. In order to ensure the development, institutionalization and sustainable growth of the private sector in our country, financial assets and commercial risks must be insured. The Turkish insurance sector is in a position to protect all our risks and respond to our needs. The sector has strong and qualified institutions that are also envied and exemplified such as the Special Risks Management Center, the Insurance Arbitration Commission, DASK, Tarsim, Information, Surveillance and Training Centers.

The pandemic process, climate change, economic and political fluctuations in the global arena and the chaos in neighboring countries increase our need for insurance day by day. On the other hand, insurance is not a product which can be bought when risks materialize. Therefore, let's insure the future from today, let's not risk our savings and values.

Let's not forget that large investments are made with small savings. In the Private Pension System, which converts our savings into investments, a significant state contribution of 30% is offered. Thanks to this system, our capital accumulation is increasing, entrepreneurs and investors can reach the long-term financing they need more easily and economically. Thanks to the development in the Private Pension System, the financing of growth will be facilitated, thus increasing employment and investments. With this system, while the savings of our citizens will grow, their future will be secured.

Agencies and appraisers organized under the umbrella of our Association within the Insurance Agencies Executive Committee (SAIK) and Insurance Appraisers Executive Committee (SEIK) make significant contributions to the healthy development of the insurance sector in Turkey. On this occasion, I would also like to congratulate our SAIK and SEİK Presidents and Committee Members on another successful period of activity and who have brought the problems of our insurer members to the agenda in every situation and have solved many of them.

Insurance adjusters have a great share in the development of the Private Pension System, the spread of insurance to the base, its accessibility and the provision of the right coverages, the determination of the risks of the insurance agencies and the justice between the insurance companies and the insured in the event of a damage. As the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, we provide all manner of support in order to ensure that the members of both professions can look to the future with more confidence, that minimum standards and professional discipline are maintained and thus contribute more to the sector.

I sincerely congratulate the Insurance Week of our entire insurance sector, employees and insured, especially our insurance agencies and insurance adjusters we work with, and wish them healthy and peaceful days.”
