In his speech at the ceremony, Hisarcıklıoğlu said that he was honored to be in Zonguldak and that what he saw is very beautiful; and that the Governor, Deputies, Mayor and Chamber/Commodity Exchange presidents came together for the development of Zonguldak.

Emphasizing that Zonguldak Chamber of Commerce and Industry works with determination and diligence in a manner befitting the history and importance of Zonguldak, and that it carries out studies that add value to the city, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that it is a 5-star Accredited Chamber.

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that Zonguldak CCI works like a project factory under the presidency of Metin Demir and prepares Zonguldak, the capital of black diamonds, for transformation in accordance with the green agreement in the world.

Reminding that Zonguldak is the place where the first step was taken in Turkey's industrialization journey, the TOBB President said, “Following the discovery of coal in the 19^th century, the first modern coal enterprises were established here. With the establishment of the Republic, our first iron and steel factory Kardemir is being established in Karabük, a district of Zonguldak. Then comes Erdemir. In other words, Turkey's industrialization begins under the leadership of Zonguldak.”

Emphasizing that Zonguldak is leading the green transformation today, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The Filyos Project, which we have dreamt of for years, is finally coming to life with the insistent demand and follow-up of President Metin. Thanks to Filyos, new business and investment opportunities arise in the fields of industry, tourism and agriculture. The intense investment demands coming to Gökçebey OIZ, which you have already established and which has the advantages of the 5^th Region, also point to this. I believe that all these works, which have gained momentum with the efforts of my Metin brother, will yield results. Zonguldak is becoming a center of attraction again. And it will be the gateway of the Western Black Sea to the world. We will continue to give you all kinds of support in Ankara.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that they have provided a total of 3 million liras of bail support to approximately 8,000 members in Zonguldak so far through the Credit Guarantee Fund, of which they are the founding partners together with the chambers.

Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that due to high inflation, the need for working capital of companies has increased, “We also convey to the government that new loan and KGF surety loan packages are needed to support them. I hope it will be a positive outcome and we will provide more bail support for Zonguldak. Because it is already clear that there is an important production potential in Zonguldak and we need to strengthen it. We analyzed 90,000 manufacturers and 4,000 products in the TOBB Industry Database. Accordingly, Zonguldak is in the first position in Turkey in terms of production capacity in 25 products, especially iron and steel. You are second in 20 products and third in 17 products. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all our entrepreneurs who make production and investments in Zonguldak..”

Stating that Zonguldak CCI has achieved another good work today, Hisarcıklıoğlu said that it has established the Mediation and Arbitration Center. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that it is one of the biggest complaints of the long-lasting courts and that they can now resolve all commercial disputes here, both faster and cheaper.

Stating that the number of applications to mediation across Turkey has reached 100,000 per month, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “70% of them have resulted in an agreement. The parties parted with halal. Be sure to use this opportunity offered to you by our Chamber.”

Stating that they have completed 81 to 81 school projects as TOBB, the TOBB President said, “At the request of my Zonguldak presidents, as TOBB, we have decided to build a total of 4 schools in Zonguldak Center and 3 districts where our chambers are located, in Alaplı, Devrek and Karadeniz Ereğli. May it be auspicious and beneficial to our Zonguldak.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that during the pandemic, the presidents of the Zonguldak Chamber / Commodity Exchange conveyed the problems of their members to them, and as TOBB, they forwarded them to the government and solved 95 percent of them.

Pointing out that the troubles continue, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that he was not hopeless and that they would overcome every problem.
