TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that he is very pleased to be instrumental in good deeds and said, “I am working together with my brother Hamit Özkök in Ankara. He served both in the Council of Commodity Exchanges and in the management of Kapıkule, our largest land customs gate. Thus, we benefit from his knowledge and experience. He represents Aksaray in the best way and becomes your voice. He conveyed all your troubles and demands to us during the pandemic. We have transferred them to the relevant places and we have obtained results for many of them.”

Stating that the troubles are not over, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We convey the problems experienced, especially the increases in energy and input costs, to our relevant ministers one by one. From now on, we will continue to follow every issue that comes from you.”

TOBB President emphasized that they have seen how strategic agriculture and animal husbandry are during the pandemic period and that they remember the importance of being a self-sufficient country in food, and said: “This sector is like nothing else. May Allah be with us. The steps to develop our agricultural sector are now much more important. In this regard, we have taken very important steps in the partnership of our Aksaray Commodity Exchange. We established TMO-TOBB LİDAŞ together. And again, with our Commodity Exchange, our Turkey Product Specialized Exchange - TÜRİB started to operate. Our Aksaray Commodity Exchange has brought many visionary works to Aksaray and continues to do so. In addition to the largest Agricultural Trade Center of our country, two Licensed Warehouses, Organized Breeding Facility and a new Seed Screening Facility. I wholeheartedly congratulate our Aksaray Commodity Exchange and my brother Hamit Özkök for all these good works.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu, stating that the share of the Commodity Exchange in Aksaray's ranking in the top 10 in Turkey in agriculture and animal husbandry is significant, said, “Under the leadership of President Hamit, we have a Commodity Exchange befitting Aksaray, the brand city of our green gold, alfalfa, milk production, sunflower seeds for snacks. It also protects our local values. Our exchange is also an accredited exchange, offering 5-star service to its member. I am proud of our Aksaray Commodity Exchange, which adds value to the city and is one of the exemplary Commodity Exchanges of Turkey.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu also touched upon the issues requested and supported by the Aksaray Commodity Exchange and said, “The water of Kızılırmak. Let it come to Aksaray and extend to Konya Plain. A connection to the port should be provided by rail. Then no one can stop Aksaray.”

After the speeches, the protocol pressed the button at the Agricultural Trade Center 2^nd Stage Opening, Organized Feeding Zone 1^st Stage Delivery and 2^nd Stage Groundbreaking, Licensed Warehouse Opening, Agricultural Warehouse and Workplace and Service Building Opening in Ortaköy and Eskil Districts and Seed Screening Facility Groundbreaking Ceremony were held.
