Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

After the Nusaybin new Customs Gate was opened, Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu met with the presidents of the Commodity Exchanges and Chambers of Trade and Industry of the region at the Mardin Yay Grand Hotel in the meeting organized by Mardin Chamber of Industry and Trade.

Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his opening speech of the meeting that when The Nusaybin Customs Gate opens for the transit traffic, the necessary workings will be performed to keep the internal customs in Nusaybin.
 
Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu mentioned that Mardin can be a brand city if there is unity and solidarity in Mardin.  Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu said “There is a statement belonging to Turkish culture. There are the God’s mercy and benediction while everybody is together; there is a rage while everybody is not together. If you want to see both the God’s mercy and benediction, you should coexist with others. How will it become? Whatever idea the people have all people’s heart should attack for Mardin, the God’s mercy and benediction come to you at that time. You should encourage the leaders of the city to invest here. We have wonderful possibilities to reach both Syria and Iraq and the Middle East’s markets. The Nusaybin Customs Gate provides a wonderful market.”

“There are no increase in dead checks and bills”
Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu explained that when Turkey as regions is analyzed in the last terms, it is registered the Southeastern Anatolia is the brightest region. Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu said that the number of company in Turkey increased 16 % when compared with the last year.

Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu went on his speech; “This rate is 12 % in Mardin, 33 % in Şırnak, 17 % in Diyarbakır, 43 % in Batman.  These rates indicate that the region is dynamic. When I analyze the employment increase in proportion to the previous year, the increase of total employment in Turkey is 10 %, in Mardin is 22 %, the rate of Mardin is shortly over Turkey’s average. The same rate is 23% in Şırnak, 13 % in Diyarbakır, and 12 % in Batman. There is only one problem in Mardin, the problem is export. While the export in Turkey increased 12 %, the export in Mardin increased 3 %. There is a problem about the rate in Mardin. However, the rate in Diyarbakır and Batman increased. The rate in Şırnak and Mardin is 3%. Although both cities are closer to the border, why do they decrease their exports? I do not understand it. According to the previous year, there is no increase in dead checks and bills in Turkey, there is a decrease. The rate of decrease is 26 %. This indicates the economy in the domestic market in Turkey is active. The decrease is 23 % in Mardin. There was the protested bill of 100 Turkish Liras last year, there is the protested bill of 77 Turkish Liras in this year. This indicates that the domestic market is active”.

Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu who indicates that the investment promotions which were taken last year increased said that “You save your excitement within your unity and solidarity. Do not be afraid of allowing immigration because you do not have any problem of job creation. The number of the entrepreneur should be increased in Turkey. All of us from the culture “dissipation is illicit”. The way of being rich is interested in trade. Trade can be available if there are entrepreneurs. We must increase the number of the entrepreneurs so that we can be rich. The total number of the entrepreneurs is 1 Billion 300 Thousands in Turkey. If it is analyzed the population, you can see half of the population is woman, the other half of the population is man. We should help the young woman and man to be entrepreneurs so that we can become rich. The sources which are dissipated are our young population. We should motive our young being the most important dynamism to be an entrepreneur, become rich”

After the speeches the president of Mardin TSO, Mehmet Ali Tutaşı presented a plaque to Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu.
