The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited Silifke Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Hisarcıklıoğlu said that they found the increase in the minimum wage to be a positive decision.

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu, who opened the Silifke CCI M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu Computer and Transaction Center, then met with the Council Members.

Hisarcıklıoğlu, who made a statement to the press about the increase in the minimum wage, said, “A minimum wage increase was required in parallel with the increase in inflation. I want to say that the new minimum wage announced today is good for our country. We would also like to thank the employer for the minimum wage support of 100 liras. We found it to be positive. As workers and employers, we will continue to produce and export hand in hand. In the current inflation environment, such increases should of course have been made. We support this to the end. However, what is important is that the purchasing power of the people also increase. The whole point is that the purchasing power of our people has increased. Increasing the level of prosperity makes us all happy.”
