TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his speech at the dinner, said that on the occasion of the Victory Day, which is the 100^th anniversary of this year and the epic of the rebirth of the Turkish nation from the ashes, he remembered Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his comrades in arms, all the martyrs and veterans with gratitude and respect.

Stating that he was honored to be presented with the Bursa City Service Order certificate on this special day, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “I will experience the happiness of this throughout my life. Bursa is a city that has become the apple in Türkiye’s eye with its agriculture, industry and entrepreneurs; its name has become a brand, and it is a city entrusted to us by Osman Gazi, of which we are all proud.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu, emphasizing that Bursa, which adds value to the economy, is a city that always produces value for Türkiye with merchants and industrialists, said, “The industrialization of Anatolia started in Bursa. Türkiye's first organized industrial zone was established in the 1960s under the leadership of Bursa CCI. Today, Bursa has become the locomotive of our country's economy with its qualified human resources, R&D and innovation-oriented production with high added value, logistics facilities, agriculture based on advanced technology and detailed export structure.”

Reminding that Bursa is Türkiye's production center in many sectors, especially in automotive, machinery and textile, Hisarcıklıoğlu continued: “As a result of all this, we had a dream that was left unfinished 60 years ago. We are realizing our dream of producing a domestic and national automobile in Bursa. Under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, this historic initiative opens its doors on October 29, if God willing, and the factory officially goes into production. In the first quarter of 2023, we are going to sell domestically. In other words, we will start to see TOGG together on the streets of Bursa very soon.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu, pointing out that TOBB has brought many works to Bursa, said: “We have ensured its preservation by restoring the Green Mausoleum, the gift of Mehmet the First, who made the rebirth of the Ottoman Empire possible. Again, we carried out the restoration of Bursa Cumalıkızık houses, one of the first settlements of the Ottoman Empire. One of the largest schools we have built so far is Bursa Osmangazi Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye Anatolian Imam Hatip High School with 50 classrooms. Now, with the request of Bursa chambers and commodity exchanges, we have started a new initiative as TOBB. We will build 7 new schools in Gemlik, İnegöl, İznik, Karacabey, Mustafakemalpaşa, Orhangazi and Yenişehir in our 7 districts here, Allah willing. May these schools be auspicious for Bursa.”

Following the speeches, Bursa Governor Yakup Canbolat, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş, Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry President İbrahim Burkay and Bursa Commodity Exchange President Özer Matlı presented Hisarcıklıoğlu with the Bursa City Service Order certificate.

Hisarcıklıoğlu also presented books to Governor Canbolat and Aktaş.

Later, Hisarcıklıoğlu and his companions toured GUHEM.
