Mehmet Ali Dumandağ made the following remarks in his statement after the visit: “We had an election on October 1. It was a peaceful election. Our members have chosen us to make their choices. Of course, the winner here was Elazığ. There are no winners and losers here, Elazığ has won. I would like to thank all our members. Good luck to our city, our environment and our country.

We come to visit President Rifat after every election. We have come this year as well. He received our team. We are delighted to be working with President Rifat. We continue these duties by taking our President as an example for ourselves. Allah bless our president. We are always with him. In the forthcoming general assembly, we, as Elazığ, stand behind our President. Our prayer and support are always with him. We have an indispensable President for Turkey.”
