The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who issued a message on the occasion of the October 29 Republic Day, emphasized that the Republic is getting stronger and more rooted every day in the process approaching a century, “This year, on the same day, we celebrate our Republic Day with even greater enthusiasm because we will also open the factory of our TOGG car, which was unfinished 60 years ago. The Republic, the form of government dominated by the will of the nation, is the greatest force behind us as we march towards our great and new goals.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu included the following views in his message:
“October 29, 1923 is one of the most proud days of our glorious history. Our Republic, under which we are celebrating its 99th anniversary, is the widest and most beautiful hearth in this land, under which we gather hand in hand, shoulder to shoulder as one and whole.
Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's statement that ‘Sovereignty belongs to the nation unconditionally,’ has now been strengthened with the Republic and has become one of the most important values that draw the direction of our country. The Republic of Türkiye is the most beautiful partnership of millions of people who have made a unity of destiny in these lands.
This year we are even more proud. TOGG automobile, the pride of our domestic and national industry, the factory of which we will open, excites us in our effort to fulfill our debt of gratitude to all our martyrs and heroes, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal, and our promise to bring our country to a brighter and more prosperous tomorrow.
As the Turkish business world, our determination to do our part and to bring our country to the most advanced heights will never change. No one should doubt that.
