At the reception, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu wished success for the new term efforts and conveyed his good wishes.

Mehmet Kaya, in his statement after the visit, gave the following opinions: “We have experienced an election as befits TOBB and Diyarbakır. It was an election in which about 7,000 members of our 16 committees voted. There, as almost all the groups, we formed our assembly administration. When we look at it both on the scale of Diyarbakır and on the scale of Türkiye, we have completed elections befitting our organization and our city.

With Rifat President, this is my second term as president. This is my fifth term as a member of parliament. As the TOBB President, he is a leader we always see by our side, whether it is the specific problem of our member, the general problem of our chamber, or the policies of Türkiye. After winning, we wanted to take him up on his invitation to meet with such a leader. We paid him a visit of support and to introduce our councilors and delegates.

One of the main reasons for this visit is that after the chamber elections are over, there will be TOBB election in May. We expressed to him that we would support him as our president and make every contribution. Good luck.”
