“The chief architect of our future is teachers”

TOBB President and TOBB University of Economics and Technology (ETU) Board of Trustees Chairman M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his message on the occasion of November 24th Teachers' Day, stated that teaching is one of the most honorable professions in the world and said, “Our teachers who prepare our children for the future are the architects who make up the world of tomorrow.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu included the following statements in his message:
“We grew up with a culture that envisioned showing the same love and respect to our teachers, our parents. We have lived by hearing and believing that it is the teachers who save nations and prepare them for the future.
Within this understanding, as the umbrella organization of the Turkish business world, we established TOBB University of Economics and Technology, which started education in the 2004-2005 period, and TOBB ETU College, which started education in the 2022-2023 academic year. We have fallen into the trouble of raising future leaders, managers and names that will shape society.
In addition, we continue our educational assistance in cooperation with our 365 chambers and exchanges. With the schools we have built, we are trying to fulfill the mission of the business world in education.
Because we believe that the best of people is the one who benefits people. And there's nothing more rewarding than that.
With these feelings and thoughts, I celebrate the 24th November Teachers' Day of our esteemed teachers and express my gratitude and respect to our educational community.”
