08.12.2022 / Ankara

Elazığ Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman İdris Alan and Assembly Speaker Sedat Karataş visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office with their delegation.

At the reception, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu wished success for the new term efforts and conveyed his good wishes.

In his statement after the visit, İdris Alan said: “We had a good election. Thankfully, we finished the elections in Elazığ in a brotherly manner. We took 12 of the 14 groups. May it bring fortune to the community of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye and to our city. We also have promises to our members. I hope that in the period of 2022-2026, under the auspices of our President Mr. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu before the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, we will do good things for our country and our province. Today, Mr. President, the members of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye have devoted their valuable time. We, as the Elazığ delegation, visited them as our assembly, management and supreme council delegates. I thank them on behalf of my chamber, science and myself. We also received good news. That made us happy. I hope we will do good things after the General Assembly. In the General Assembly, we want to see Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu as the President again. We, as the Members of the General Assembly and the Chairman of the Board of Directors, support our Rifat President. We believe that he has done very useful work for Elazığ.One of the biggest problems of Elazığ was the 6th region incentives. At that time, our President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stood by us. In a way, he acted as our advocate. As of now, Elazığ is benefiting from the 6th region incentives. When we presented this issue to Mr. President, 2,500 people were working in Elazığ OIZ, and thanks to Allah, with the support of Mr. President, these figures are now 20,000. In 2023, this will reach 30,000. Even that is reason enough for us.”
