TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his speech at the ceremony, said that he was honored to be in Kayseri, which has become a brand city not only in trade but also in industry, tourism and education.

Emphasizing that Kayseri is at a point that will be an example to the whole country, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Here, we have written a success story that has emerged entirely with our own means. Kayseri was a trade city from time immemorial. With the labor of our own people, we have turned into one of the most important industrial cities of Turkey. It was not enough, we became a tourism city. We have become a center of education and a city of universities.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that they have achieved all this with the labor and effort of their own entrepreneurs and philanthropists in Kayseri, “We are unique in this sense in Türkiye. We did not ask for anything from the state, we did not receive it. We have come to this point entirely by our own means. I am proud of our industrialists from Kayseri, who make us proud with all these achievements, and with you. I also congratulate all my brothers and sisters who have been deemed worthy of the award and wish them continued success.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that Kayseri, with its 3 Organized Industrial Zones, 1 Free Zone and 1 Technology Development Zone, has reached a position that everyone is proud of, and has an export volume with high added value, almost all of which consists of industrial products.
