At the reception, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu wished success for the new term efforts and conveyed his good wishes.

Mehmet Erdoğan, in his statement after the visit, included the following views: “We had a very democratic election on October 3. We had candidates. There were those who came from the members. In the end, we held an election that pleased all our members. Later we also received feedback on this. From friends and others who are rivals. The community of the Union of Chambers, which we see in all institutions, and chambers and commodity exchanges like ours, which is reflected in the general public, have held good election in accordance with democracy. Today, with our request, Mr. President, they received us.We visited with all our council members and colleagues. We conveyed the information we have about the sectoral problems in our city. We have seen that the President is as cognizant of our issues as we are. It was very important. What is valuable for us is the support given by KGF to tea. Mr. Erdoğan, the president of the KGF, was also here. I thank him very much. I believe that we will achieve very good results in this unity. On the day I won the election, I wrote and sent my nomination letter for Mr. President. I think Türkiye needs Mr. Rifat. We are also ready to take any task in the administrations or boards that will be formed here under his auspices.  We support him. I hope that a good election will take place.”
