Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

At the reception, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu wished success for the new semester studies and conveyed his good wishes.

Hüseyin Çevik made the following remarks in his statement after the visit: “I am the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Konya Commodity Exchange. I am the President of the Council of Commodity Exchanges of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges. We have entered the 3^rd term. We will now continue to work on new strategic plans for new services in the new period. As you know, we serve with our spot sales, licensed warehousing, laboratory we call Kalede and our commodity exchange Konya intermediary company as the commercial axis of our Konya Commodity Exchange in the agricultural capital of Konya city. We have 1350 members. We have licensed warehouses in 6 locations. We also served 58 destinations. We have a Seed Certification Center. I would like to say this, of course, our mentor is President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, our Rifat President. We are implementing the strategic plans drawn by our Rifat President in Konya province and we are implementing them in Konya agriculture. If the licensed warehouses have reached 10 million today, these researches conducted in 2005 under the leadership of our Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges are an event that results from these investigations and where the world is going. Today, 10 million licensed warehouses have been formed in our country. Our Rifat President has contributed a lot to this. Our Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges continues to work in unity with 365 Chambers and Commodity Exchanges in Türkiye. This reveals that there is mercy in unity and solidarity in our country and torment in separation. This is the mentality of our Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges 365 chambers. I hope that in the new period, under the guidance of our Rifat President, our Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges will emerge with new strategic plans and new services and these services will continue in this period.”
