I wholeheartedly congratulate all my industrialist and entrepreneur brothers and sisters who will receive awards.” TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu, who stated that he saw many success stories when he came to Kocaeli, said, “This gives me a great morale and energy. Of course, the architect of this work, my brother Ayhan, deserves special appreciation. Ayhan President and our Kocaeli Chamber of Industry have made these awards both traditional and institutional. He made it a nationally relevant event that resonates throughout the country. In fact, starting and maintaining such a comprehensive business is a visionary endeavor. It's also a team success. I am proud of our President Ayhan and his team, and I congratulate them once again from the bottom of my heart. I work with Ayhan President both on the TOBB Board of Directors and at IKV. I benefit from his knowledge and experience.”

 - Hisarcıklıoğlu's message of unity

Hisarcıklıoğlu thanked the Development Agency, PWC, Kocaeli and Gebze Technical Universities, TEPAV and Eastern Marmara ABİGEM for their support to the award ceremony and emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity. The TOBB President said: “You see, when you are one and together, Allah grants grace and blessings. As long as we don't marginalize each other. Let's not exclude anyone because of their opinion, their beliefs, their opinions.” At the end of his speech, Hisarcıklıoğlu also touched on the TOGG car and said, “Our dream of producing a national car, which was left unfinished 60 years ago, is becoming a reality. On October 29, together with Mr. President, we opened our TOGG factory. To have succeeded in this initiative, of which our community is a founding partner, is a source of pride for all of us. You are the owners of this factory and the first electric car of our country. Because in the 2017 general assembly, you demanded it and you were the first to own this work which we, as TOBB, have pioneered.”
