Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

At the reception, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu wished success for the new term efforts and conveyed his good wishes.

Erdal Bahçıvan, in his statement after the visit, gave the following opinions: “The most exemplary institutions in terms of experiencing the election process of 365 chambers in Türkiye. İstanbul Chamber of Industry, as the oldest and largest chamber of industry in Türkiye, has successfully undergone a very civilized and inclusive election process in this process. Our council, which was elected after the elections held in a peaceful atmosphere with a wide participation in our 55 professional committees, deemed the task worthy of me and our board of directors. We hope that in the next 4 years, we will continue our duties in constant contact and consultation with the Union of Chambers for our economy, industry, our country and İstanbul, in unity.I wish all elected boards of directors and assemblies good luck. All our industrialists, traders and commodity exchange members elected this semester will perform the duty for the 100^th year of our Republic. This is also very meaningful and valuable. I hope that we will complete this period suitably.

We came to visit Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu. This is our highest board for us. The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye is the place where Türkiye's 365 chambers take their route and to which they are legally and wholeheartedly attached. President Rifat is a President with whom we have been working for many years and who has given us strength with his guidance and leadership that is always in the Turkish business world. Especially during the pandemic, we finished a period of duty with a thousand and one difficulties. It was a very useful conversation both to introduce our new management and to get their thoughts about the future.The election process in the chambers is a period that starts from the floor and lasts until the ceiling. I hope that in the same peace and understanding, we will do our duty in May and determine the new term for the 100^th year of our Republic in 2023 in the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye. I hope that we will crown this with a stable and peaceful administration. I believe that all our delegates will find the right thing with common sense.”
