12.01.2023 / ANKARA

Van Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Necdet Takva and Assembly Speaker Turan Avcı visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office with their delegation.

At the reception, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu wished success for the new term efforts and conveyed his good wishes.

Necdet Takva, in his statement after the visit, gave the following views: “As the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which has completed the election, we visited our Union President Mr. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu today as the Van delegation. Together with our newly selected team within the framework of its own vision, we conveyed our requests for cooperation to our cities by showing the necessary sensitivity to our country and the development of international trade. At the same time, we briefed him on the basic needs of our city in the tasks we were elected for the next term and presented our file. Our Union President is a visionary. We came together with Mr. President in their own homes so that our other friends could feel the richness of working together. In the end, no matter how complicated the turmoil, the chambers and commodity exchanges that experienced Türkiye's most democratic electoral processes completed the process in this sense. Van was the last to finish elections. Today, we visited our Union to convey both the problems experienced and our views and suggestions regarding the new process. I must state clearly that Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu is actually a great chance for our country. Mr. President's vision from the past to present actually creates an exciting structure for all of us.In the coming period, I think that by standing behind Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu in the Union elections, we should be in an understanding that will embrace the next period of our cities and our region to an incredible degree. I think that the delegates of the Union of All Chambers will sincerely provide this support. We will always stand by our President. We will not miss the opportunity to reflect his energy and vision on the development of our own cities.”
