“Holidays are the name of unity and solidarity”

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, noting that the holidays are days of unity and solidarity in his message on the occasion of the Ramadan Feast, said, “We continue to feel the pain of the earthquake we experienced in the past months and which has deeply shaken us all in our hearts. The solidarity we showed in these difficult days was the most fundamental principle of being a nation, of being one and together. I hope that by growing this spirit of solidarity, we will attain beautiful tomorrows together again by working hard and joining hands.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu included the following sentences in his message:
“After the blessed month of Ramadan, we have another Eid. The pain of the earthquake we have experienced still remains in our hearts in the heaviest form.
We know that we can only overcome such disasters when we are one and together, when we are united.
In these days, which are the best occasion for the strengthening of people's bonds of unity and solidarity, we should remember even more strongly the importance of sharing, embracing each other with love and being able to empathize.
On this occasion, on behalf of the Turkish business world, while once again praying for mercy from Allah for the lives we lost in the earthquake and patience for their relatives, I hope that the Ramadan Feast will be instrumental in bringing better days to our nation, the Islamic world and humanity.”
