In his speech at the ceremony, Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that they took an important step for the business world in Samsun, and said that the slow operation of the judicial system has always been the subject of complaint due to the excessive file load, and that the mediation system has come into play as an alternative at this point.

Stating that mediation is mandatory in labor-employer, commercial and consumer disputes and finally in rent disputes, Hisarcıklıoğlu said that they established the UYUM Mediation and Dispute Resolution Center within TOBB. Reminding that Cemil Çiçek, former Speaker of the TGNA, was the President of the Center, the TOBB President said, “And under his management, it developed rapidly. Our chambers also embraced this issue and made it widespread by opening centers within their own bodies. Thus, the use of this system increased day by day. To date, nearly 4 million files have come to mediation. And 70 percent of them resulted in an agreement. Cases that used to take years were concluded in days and weeks. In other words, access to justice has accelerated. Most importantly, the parties parted with their goodbyes.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu continued as follows: “I congratulate Salih Zeki Murzioglu, President of Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for his vision that brought this center to Samsun. He is also my colleague in the TOBB administration. He also represents you in Ankara in the best way. He has a great labor and contribution to the level and service capacity of TOBB today. I am very happy to work with him and to have him as my traveling companion. May Allah bless our President who works with determination to serve Samsun in the best way. Our Chamber and President Salih Zeki are doing work that adds value to Samsun. He also brings your every problem to Ankara and seeks solutions. Thanks to the efforts of our Minister and the new practices he personally initiated, many supports and regulations have been implemented.”
