“Our youth are the guarantee of Türkiye’s future and the architects of better days”

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his May 19th Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day message, reminded that Mustafa Kemal Atatürk dedicated this historic day as a gift to youth and said that the bright future of the country and the picture of civilization will be drawn by the hands of young people.
Hisarcıklıoğlu included the following views in his message:
“In the light of the torch of the fight for independence lit by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on May 19th 1919 in Samsun, we have to work hard every day to reach the level of modern civilizations as a country.
As we march towards this goal, our greatest potential will undoubtedly be our youth, of whom we have always been proud. There are very deep meanings behind the gift of this meaningful day to our youth as a holiday. Our youth is the guarantee of Türkiye’s future and the architect of better days.
As the Turkish business world, we work with this awareness, trusting our young people and working to pave the way for them.
Keeping in mind the sacred struggle for the establishment of the Republic of Türkiye, we should celebrate May 19th by always protecting Atatürk’s legacy.
On behalf of the Turkish business world, on the anniversary of this meaningful day when the great Atatürk started the fight for liberation and the indivisible integrity of our homeland; the establishment of our unity and solidarity, I celebrate May 19th Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day and once again remember our veterans and martyrs with gratitude and mercy.”
