The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the city's first shopping center investment in Niğde.

Wishing the shopping center to be beneficial for Niğde, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “I wish you abundant profits.” The ceremony hosted by shopping center partners Oktay Beyazıt and Ömer Havuççu was attended by Hisarcıklıoğlu, as well as Niğde Governor Mustafa Koç, Niğde Mayor Emin Özdemir, Credit Guarantee Fund Chairman Erdoğan Özegen, GTİ AŞ Chairman Arif Parmaksız and many representatives from the business world.

In his speech here, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu reminded that he received both the citizenship certificate with the decision of the Niğde Municipal Assembly and the honorary doctorate of Niğde University with the kindness of the University, and stated that he sees Niğde as his hometown in this respect.

Stating that the shopping center will become a center of attraction with its stores and social facilities where families, children and young people can spend time with pleasure, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Shopping malls have become an indispensable part of modern life today with the different opportunities they offer.

They have also become one of the indicators of the level of modernity and development of cities. Shopping malls are also very important for our industry. Because if there is no place where you can market and sell the final product you have produced, your production has no meaning. In this respect, shopping malls should be seen not only as places where sales are made, but also as places that support industry and industrialists.”
