TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu included the following statements in his message:

“We are on the 7^th anniversary of the treacherous coup attempt on July 15^th, 2016. We have not forgotten and will not forget this dastardly attack on the independence and future of our country.

With the emergence of the treacherous coup attempt, we, as TOBB and the Chamber and Exchange community, showed our reaction at the first moment. We were the first professional organization to take action against the coup attempt and the first to take the initiative.

As soon as the coup declaration was read, we came out; ‘We do not recognize any will other than the will of the nation and democracy. The day is the day to protect democracy.’

As TOBB and the Chamber and Exchange Community, we stand by democracy, our nation and our state.

We wish Allah's grace upon our heroic martyrs of the national resistance who lost their lives in this struggle for democracy, we wish patience to their precious families and we commemorate our veterans with gratitude.”
