Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu informed chamber of commerce and Industry presidents who joined the CACCI Conference about the Turkish economy.  He stated Turkey will be the bridge of production and trade for Asia Pacific and pointed out the importance of Turkey in the region.

 

-Turkish private sector is the source of economic growth

 

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Turkey is among the 16 states which managed to reach the same GDP it used to have before the global economic crisis in its aftermath. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu mentioned Turkish private sector is the source of this economic growth.

 

-Turkey surpassed many European countries in terms of trust and stability

Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated the most important indication of the stability is the credit score of Turkey. M. Rifat Hisarcıklioğlu mentioned Turkey is among the 7 countries which increased its credit score in 2009-2010.

 

-92 percent of exportation is industrial products

 

Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu said 92 percent of industrial products constitute our export and more than 50 percent of the export is made to EU countries and USA markets.

-Agricultural production increased to 56 billion dollars

 

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu mentioned that Turkey increased its agricultural production to 56 billion dollars from 23 billion dollars in the last 10 years. Turkey became the 8th country in the world ranking of agricultural production.
