Hisarcıklıoğlu made the following remarks in his statement:

“The business world was waiting for a road map for the future. The Medium Term Program (MTP) covering the 2024-2026 period announced by our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has been an important achievement. May it be beneficial to our country and nation.

We consider the Medium Term Program extremely important in terms of reducing uncertainty. We expect it to provide momentum to economic activity and increase predictability.

In the MTP, it is valuable that new efforts will be made to improve the business and investment environment through public-private partnership, focus on green and digital transformation, and aim to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

We expect the reforms set out to achieve the main objectives of the program to be implemented in line with the timetable.

Implementation of the program by taking into account the needs of the business world for production and investment, especially access to finance, will also increase the success of the program.

Türkiye will hopefully become a more competitive and higher value-added economy that achieves sustainable growth, gradually reduces inflation, strengthens macroeconomic and financial stability, increases employment, and becomes a more competitive and higher value-added economy with the change and transformation it will decisively implement in this process.

As the business world, we will continue to work with all our strength in line with the goals of our country.”
