Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Eurochambres Presidency meeting

The Presidency meeting of the European Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Eurochambres), of which M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), is Vice President, was held in Madrid, hosted by José Luis Bonet, President of the Spanish Union of Chambers.​

Xiana Mendez Bertolo, Minister of State for Trade of Spain, which holds the EU Presidency, attended the meeting and gave information about the policy priorities of the Spanish EU Presidency.

 

Reducing bureaucracy, completion of the Free Trade Agreements under negotiation including the modernization of the customs union, the problem of qualified labor force and the EU enlargement process were discussed at the meeting.
