Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu and TOBB General Assembly President Gürsel Baran wrote the following in the Anıtkabir Memorial Ledger:

“Great Atatürk,

As the executives and delegates of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, we are here before you to emphasize our respect for your cherished memory and our commitment to the founding principles and goals of our state.

As the umbrella organization of the Turkish business world, we are holding our 80^th General Assembly this year. We have always considered it a debt of honor and gratitude to protect the Republic, our independence and the sovereignty of the nation, which you have entrusted to us.

In the light of your principles, we will never give up our efforts to grow our country's economy, create employment and increase the welfare level of our people.

What you and your comrades in arms have achieved together with our honorable nation is our greatest pride. The goal you have set for future generations and the bright path you have shown will never fade.

We commemorate with gratitude those who sacrificed their lives and contributed to the establishment of our Republic and its development to this day.

May your soul rest in peace.”
